Until the deadline for submission of applications for participation in the sixth edition of the World Cup of Folklore - Veliko Tarnovo 2021 has less than two weeks.

The forum will be held in compliance with all precautionary measures in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health in the period of May 13-17, 2021 and will give the opportunity to talented performers to have a stage appearance.

The host of the folklore event is the picturesque town of Veliko Tarnovo and the guests will have the chance to explore the most valuable historical monuments of Bulgaria and the beautiful architecture of the town. In the spirit of customs, participants will be captivated by the charm and uniqueness of the houses located in the banks of Yantra river, the grandeur of the Tsarevets fortress and the Asenevtsi monument, as well as the authenticity of the Samovodska Charshia Ethnographic Complex.

In addition to rewarding your work on the preservation of folklore values by visiting the beautiful destination, you can also win the grand prize of the competition, a gold medal and the diploma "WINNER of WORLD CUP OF FOLKLORE".

The formations that can take part in the competition program are folklore ensembles, folk singing and dancing groups, choirs, folklore dance clubs, groups for old urban songs, brass and folklore orchestras and individual performers and duets.

Immediately before the holding of the traditional form of the World Cup of Folklore - Veliko Tarnovo 2021, the team organizes an online forum that fully meets the requirements of the new times. The digital variation of the event will provide participants from all over the world a platform for demonstrating dance and music skills from 4 to 12 May 2021.
