About 1400 participants from 120 folklore groups will take part in the IX Balkan Championship of Folklore "Euro folk - Jiva voda 2021".

The guests and citizens of the town host - Hisarya will enjoy the beauty and diversity of Bulgarian folklore costumes and presentations on the stage of "Ivan Vazov 1904" Community center.

Participants will present the fruit of their hard work on the preservation and reproduction of folklore arts during two full-day concerts, with a total duration of over 20 hours, on June 5 and 6, 2021.

The official opening of the forum will take place on June 5, 2021 at 19:30, and the closing ceremony of the competition and awarding will be held on June 6, 2021 at 19:30.

The official guests of the event - Eng. Penka Ganeva - Mayor of Hisarya, Mr. Georgi Topuzliiski - Director of the Balkan Championship of Folklore "Euro folk - Jiva voda" and secretary of "Ivan Vazov 1904" Community Center, as well as Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov - President of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF,  will express their greetings to the performers who joined this year's edition of the folklore competition.

Through professional audio and television equipment, all performances and interesting moments of the stage events will be broadcast in real time on the Internet platforms of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF and Eurofolk TV.

We are yet to find out who will be the winner of the Grand Prix "Euro Folk 2021" - Grand Prix Gold "Orpheus", gold medal and the title "Absolute Balkan Champion of Folklore for 2021", which will bring him a cash prize of BGN 1,000, provided by the Municipality of Hisarya.
