The International Folklore Dance and Music Festival "Troy" was held in the period 21-25 April 2022, welcoming 280 participants from Ukraine, Bulgaria, Northern Macedonia, Romania, Northern Cyprus and Turkey.

The first festival evening created a festive mood in the central square of Canakkale. The groups enjoyed the welcome cocktail, which took place in the receptions of the Municipalities, after which they took part in the official parade of the forum. At the closing ceremony, performers were awarded prizes by the Mayor of Avjilar Municipality.

All participants had the opportunity to visit the island of Bozjaada and to enjoy its beauties, where the parade and the second festival evening took place.

The groups exchanged professional experience at a specially organized gala evening with a workshop. The artists presented their traditional dances and had fun at the specially organized disco party, which lasted until midnight.
 
The guests returned to their countries with great memories and with hopes to come back again next year, but also pleased to have had the opportunity to join various excursions to the Museum of Troy and the ancient ruins of the city.
