The first place of the European Championship of Folklore "Euro folk" 2022 went to the Dance ensemble "Mkhedruli-2", part of the Ensemble for songs and dances "Mkhedruli" - Kobuleti, Adjaria, Georgia. Art director of the ensemble is Badri Tsetskhladze. The group won the Golden medal of the Championship, the title "Absolute European Champion in 2022", the Golden "Orpheus" and the cash prize in the amount of 500 Euro, provided by the organizers. Director of the group also received the title "Maestro academician". Winner of the online edition of the competition is the Tambura orchestra at the Music school in Dugo selo, Croatia. The group received Laureate title Ist degree (Golden diploma), Diploma and cash prize in the amount of 300 Euro as a voucher for participation in the World Championship of Folklore "World Folk". The jury awarded the title "Maestro" to the art director Mr Dario Cebic. Both editions of the Championship were attended by more than 800 participants from Bulgaria, Belarus, Georgia, Malaysia, Poland, Russia, Hungary and Croatia. The jury commission of both traditional and online editions of the Championship was composed by the Chairman Maestro Georgi Yankov - musical specialist and conductor, and members: Mr Valentin Halvadzhiev - choreographer, author of folklore dance choreographies and Mrs Mariana Nutsova - ethnologist, program director of EuroFolkTV. The official closing and awarding ceremonies was held on the stage in Pomorie and started with the award of the "Prosveta 1888" Community center - a diploma for participation, preservation and promotion of folklore art, and the prize went to Group for folklore dances "Kitka" - Rakovski, Bulgaria. The award provided by the Mayor of the Municipality of Pomorie, Mr. Ivan Aleksiev, went to Female vocal group "Zgarliyka" at "Otets Paisiy 1930" Community center, Velichkovo village, Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. President of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF closed the forum saying: "Thank you for having the opportunity to feel your art. I wish you to have strength and inspiration to continue keeping the traditions and culture of our ancestors, to continue passing it to the next generations." Organizers of the forum were Euro Folk Academy, and kind hosts were Sunny beach, Municipality of Pomorie and "Prosveta 1888" Community center, Pomorie. The event was held under the aegis of the European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF.
