The International folklore dance and music festival "Summer festivals in Ohrid and Struga" was held from 8th to 12th of July, 2022.

More than 350 participants from 8 different countries were involved in the Macedonian musical forum. Concerts were attended by artists from North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Serbia.

Festival evenings were held on 9th and 10th July on the town square, where the groups presented their wonderful performances.

During their stay in Ohrid, participants were included in tours around the town with licensed guides and explored the landmarks and tourist sights of the Old town of Ohrid. All the participants and their art directors had a boat trip to St. Naum Monastery and the springs of Black Drin river.

On their last day, participants had a Gala event where different masterclasses were conducted. Groups presented their national dances to participants from other nations. The same night, participants had a disco party as well.

All performers left Ohrid with sincere gratitude and promises that their participation in the event will become a tradition.
