The International folklore dance and music festival "Durres Fest" took place from September 1 to 5 in Albania and welcomed 7 ensembles, with more than 250 performers, who presented their music and dance program in the central square of Durres. The forum presented the work of groups from North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Albania. Festival director Alexander Moysoski said: "Participants who attended the festival event saw the beauty of Albania's second largest city and enjoyed the warm Adriatic Sea. They presented part of their repertoire during the parade through the main streets of Durres. The festival event was organized in the central square and was filled with music, dances, songs and festive mood. The fiesta provided an opportunity to create new friendships, meeting different nations and cultures." At the end of the cultural event, the ensembles received certificates and gifts for participation. On September 6, the groups enjoyed a special party where they made many new friends and memories. The Durres Festival was supported by the Municipality and Cultural Center of Durres, Albania. During their free time, the performers had the opportunity to visit the old city of Durres, the cities of Tirana, Kruja and Berat.
