The VI International Music and Dance Festival "Friends in Moscow" was held from 7 to 11 October in Moscow. Organizers of the festival are the Fund for the Development of the Culture of the Peoples of Siberia and the Far East "Northern Rainbow" and Charity foundation "RusHelp". The festival was held with the support of: The Permanent Representation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation; The Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the City of Moscow; Department of Culture of the City of Moscow, European Association of Folklore Festivals - EAFF. 

The grand opening of the festival began with the dance "By the River", which was masterfully performed by the Creative group Dance Ensemble "Yunost", with artistic director and chief choreographer Sergey Shironin.

The welcoming speech to the participants of the festival was made by: Alexandra Borisova - organizer and author of the festival, president of the NGO Fund for the Development of the Culture of the Peoples of Siberia and the Far East "Northern Rainbow", member of the Public Council of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation; Anastasia Didenko - chief adviser of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation and Vasily Alexandrov - festival partner, director of the Charity foundation "RusHelp" , who sent his video greeting as he was on a humanitarian mission.

This year, the VI International Music and Dance Festival "Friends in Moscow" was dedicated to the creative children of Donbass. In aid of the students of the Children's Art School No. 1 in Gorlovka and the Children's Art School in Makeevka. The concert opened with a large-screen demonstration of the song "Prayer for Donbass" performed by the vocal ensemble "UniArt" from the city of Khorlovka, Donetsk People's Republic (leader Nataliya Sergiyenko).

Popular artists took part in the charity concert - Nikolai Golodenko - Honored Artist of Russia; Vladislav Shagan - multi-instrumentalist, laureate of international competitions; Vladimir Avtonomov – soloist of the Opera Theater of the Moscow State Conservatory "Tchaikovsky" P. I. Tchaikovsky, laureate of international competitions; Andrey Selivanov – rock bard, laureate of numerous festivals for spiritual and patriotic song; Elena Sedova - songwriter, singer, poet, laureate of international competitions.

Creative collectives and individual performers from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia); Donetsk People's Republic; Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov, Tula, Leningrad regions; Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as participants from abroad - Bulgaria and Mongolia.

According to the results of the performances, the winners of the Grand Prix are the ensemble "Zadorinka lazhitsa", Domodedovo, Moscow region (leader Elena Galkina) and the Creative group dance ensemble "Yunost", Moscow (leader Shironin Sergey, pedagogue-choreographer Shironina Elena).

The audience award and the special award of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) under the President of the Russian Federation "Best National Costume" rightly won the ensemble "Zadorinka", Domodedovo, Moscow region (leader Elena Galkina).

Folklore group "Zabava" (led by Natalia Polyakova), who came to the festival from Norilsk, received the special award of the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation - "For preservation of folk traditions" and a nice gift from actor Alexander Kasyanov – master class in acting "live".

The winner of the online voting on the page of "Northern Rainbow" by a large margin of votes is the show group "Boring Age" (leader Chumerina Tatyana), Priozersk, Leningrad Oblast. The team will receive an individual online acting master class from Alexander Kasyanov.

The jury of the festival, headed by Nikolai Golodenko – Honored Artist of Russia, professor, voice teacher, corresponding member of the Academy of Pedagogical and Social Sciences, recipient of the Order "Professional of Russia". consisted of: Maria Andreeva – violinist and pianist, winner in the IX and X International Youth Competition "Tchaikovsky" in two categories (violin and piano); Sergey Shironin - Honored Worker of Culture of Moscow, Expert of the Ministry of Culture of the Moscow Region, Art director and chief choreographer of the Creative Group of the Dance Ensemble "Yunnost"; Vladislav Shagan – multi-instrumentalist, composer, sound producer; Vladimir Luzhbin - director of theatrical performances and celebrations, head of the Central Officers' Club of the Air Force, honored figure of culture of the Russian Federation; Anahit Saribekyan - dance expert, choreographer, regional representative of the International Dance Council CID UNESCO - Paris, France.

The director of the festival - Mrs. Alexandra Borisova expressed her gratitude to the participants with the words: "Thank you to all the participants in VI International Music and Dance Festival "Friends in Moscow"!
