Now is the moment to make your plans for participation in a festival in the spring of 2023 while there are still places.
In March 2023, the European capitals of Vienna, Rome, Prague and Budapest will become blooming festival destinations which will provide an opportunity for city tourism and backstage emotions.
The Xth International Folklore Festival "Vienna 2023" welcomes participants to present themselves in front of an Austrian audience in the period from 3rd to 5th of March 2023. The submission of applications for participation is open until January 20th. In the festival's previous editions, concerts have welcomed groups from Austria, Romania, Germany, Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Mexico, France, Ukraine, Greece, India, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Montenegro and Slovenia. At the same time and in the same city, the International Dance Competition "Vienna Dance Open" will be held.
From 8th to 12th of March 2023, the "eternal city" - Rome will host the IX International Festival of Choirs and Orchestras in Rome. Enrich the cultural diversity of this extraordinary metropolis by participating in the concerts held in churches and concert halls during the Rome Music Festival, applying until January 15, 2023.
In the spring, Prague also surprises the participants with two events - XXXIII International Folklore Festival in Prague (March 16 - 19, 2023) and International Festival-Competition for Folklore, Dance and Music "PRAGUE STARS" (March 27 - 30, 2023). The second event dawned on the Prague cultural skyline in 2005. The main message of the forum is the search for new talents among children and youth ensembles and soloists, building international friendly and creative contacts, enriching multinational culture on the basis of mutual respect for the traditions of all countries and nations around the world, promoting the creative activity of children and youth, sharing experience and creative achievements of participants from different countries, improving the professional skills and qualities of teachers and leaders.
The Pearl of the Danube - Budapest also provides two performance opportunities worth taking advantage of - VII. International Folklore Festival and the International Modern Dance Competition "BUDAPEST DANCE OPEN".
