In 2023, Wiki Loves Living Heritage celebrates the 20th anniversary of the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Share your living heritage by participating in the Wiki Loves Living Heritage campaign and join the many heritage communities, Wikimedia volunteers, NGOs and other organizations involved in its preservation around the world.

Living heritage lists have been developed in more than 180 countries around the world. Every year, a number of these elements are also included in UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists. And of course, living heritage is not limited to items entered into lists or inventories, there is much more that creates occasions for celebration.
