The web page of the "Silk Road - Living Heritage" Network, a partner organization of EAFF, is launched now.

The new digital project was developed within the home page of the network secretariat - ICHCAP.

The ICHCAP Secretariat clarifies that this is an initial step to have all the information about the Silk Road Living Heritage Network and its activities in one place so that it is visually useful for the audience to easily learn about the network and its activities.

In October last year, at a meeting of the Coordination Bureau of the "Silk Road - Living Heritage" Network, at which a “Memorandum of Understanding” – MOU was signed between the President of the European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF) Mr. Kaloyan Nikolov and Mr. Ji-Sung Kim, Director-General of The International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP). The need for such a platform was discussed, with an emphasis on the development of the network of festivals part of the “Silk Road”, joint activities for the protection of the Intangible Cultural Heritage in the context of the Convention on the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO.
