The 18th International Dance Music Festival “Udbhav Utsav” was held in Gwalior, UNESCO City of Music, India from 25 to 30 October 2023. The event included an impressive line-up of 1,500 performers from Estonia, Malaysia, Tibet, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka and various regions of India.

The event was opened by Mr. Askar Beshimov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to India. Special guests were also: Ms. Asel Akmatkalyikyzy, Consul - Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and Ms. Dinara Rakhmanova, wife of H.E. the ambassador of Kyrgyzstan.

The exciting festival was broadcasted worldwide via YouTube and other social platforms and received extensive coverage by the Indian media. Estonia became the winner of the Championship, followed by India in second place and Kyrgyzstan in third position. Sri Lanka won the award for the Best Marching Team while Malaysia won the Most Disciplined Team trophy.
