Over 200 performers participated in the International Folklore Festival "Ohrid Postcard," held from June 25 to 29, 2024, in the picturesque city of Ohrid. The festival brought together folklore groups from North Macedonia, Croatia, Poland, and Turkey, who showcased their cultural heritage and traditions. During the forum, participants had the opportunity to explore the landmarks of the old town of Ohrid, including Samuel's Fortress, the Ancient Theatre, and numerous historic churches. One of the days was dedicated to sailing on Lake Ohrid, which led them to the beautiful Monastery of Saint Naum. The festival evening took place in the center of Ohrid, where the groups demonstrated their skills to the local audience and city guests. At the end of the event, all participants received certificates of recognition for their active and enthusiastic participation. The festival concluded with great success, with all groups expressing their satisfaction with the organization and warm hospitality. "Ohrid Postcard" has established itself as a significant event in the cultural calendar of the region, contributing to the preservation and promotion of folklore heritage.
