From November 7 to 10, 2024, Prague became the European capital of dance, hosting the International Dance Competition “Prague Dance Open.” The event, organized under the leadership of Mr. Dragan Petkovic, attracted over 1,000 dancers from 10 countries, including Poland, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic. Dance clubs delivered impressive performances on a professional stage equipped with modern sound and lighting, creating an exceptional atmosphere for both participants and the audience. The program was intense, running from early morning until late evening, allowing all participants to showcase their talent to an international audience. “After hard work organizing this large-scale competition, we are thrilled to see the success and the joy it brought to the dance community,” shared the organizers. The next major challenge for the team will be the dance competition in Vienna, where approximately 2,000 dancers are expected to perform on three stages simultaneously. The organizers have already set their sights on the next edition of the Prague dance competition, promising an even bigger show and unforgettable emotions. The “Prague Dance Open” competition has solidified its position as one of the most prestigious dance events in Europe, uniting talents from various cultures and countries in a shared inspiration – the magic of dance.
