From September 11 to 14, 2025, the picturesque Italian resort of Rimini will welcome participants to the 21st International Folklore Festival – a well-established cultural event that brings together traditions, music, and dance from around the world. The festival is held under the direction of Mr. Dragan Petkovic, a long-standing organizer of prestigious international events. The festival will gather ensembles from over 20 countries, including Italy, Bulgaria, Turkey, India, Ukraine, Greece, Indonesia, Czech Republic, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Armenia, Russia, Hungary, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and many more. The program begins on September 11 with the arrival and accommodation of participants in three-star hotels. An orientation meeting and a panoramic tour of Rimini will follow – a city renowned for its rich history, cultural heritage, and vibrant seaside atmosphere. The evening will be free for relaxation and social activities. On the following day, participants will take part in a festive parade through the city streets, followed by stage performances. Each group will be awarded an official certificate and plaque. The evening continues with dinner and, optionally, the opportunity to experience the nightlife of Rimini. September 13 offers a half-day excursion to San Marino, where participants will enjoy the unique atmosphere of the world’s oldest republic. The program includes visits to iconic landmarks and free time before returning to the hotel. Later in the evening, a friendly party will be organized for all groups. On September 14, after breakfast, groups may depart for their home countries or join additional excursions to Venice, Verona, Padua, or Trieste, before the official closing of the festival. All folklore ensembles, dance and vocal groups interested in presenting their country’s culture on an international stage are invited to apply for participation. Places are limited.
