From April 8 to 12, 2026, the Croatian town of Poreč will transform into a stage for one of the most impressive cultural events in the region – the 14th edition of the International Choir and Orchestra Festival. Located in the heart of picturesque Istria, Poreč combines the magic of the Adriatic, rich historical heritage, and warm local hospitality – the perfect setting for a meeting of music and culture from around the world. The festival offers a platform for diverse choirs and orchestras to present a free program lasting between 30 and 45 minutes. The event includes an opening concert featuring all ensembles, festival performances, meetings with conductors, and rehearsals under professional concert conditions. Beyond the musical program, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy free time, explore the region, and engage in cultural exchange with other ensembles. Istria – the pearl of the Croatian Riviera – offers not only inspiring nature and a stunning coastline but also a variety of additional excursions and experiences. These include visits to Pula and Rovinj, wine and olive oil tastings inland, and even a cruise to and from Poreč – all in the spirit of shared music, culture, and unforgettable emotions. The organizers invite all interested ensembles to apply in time, as places are limited. If your choir or orchestra is looking for an inspiring international stage and a truly memorable experience – the festival in Poreč awaits you.
