The 6th edition of the International Cultural Festival “FOLKWAY” promises five days of folklore excitement, color, and a celebration of identity – in the heart of one of Greece’s most enchanting destinations.

Crete is not just an island – it’s a legend. From ancient ruins and mountain villages to golden beaches and the mythical hospitality of the locals – this is where cultures come alive. Hersonissos – picturesque and full of life – is the perfect stage for traditional dance groups, choirs, and orchestras from around the world. After five successful editions, the festival has become an institution – a magnetic event that brings together the hearts of performers and audiences alike.

Expect days filled with shared emotions, music, dancing, traditional celebrations under the stars, Greek cuisine, wine, and endless opportunities for new friendships. There will be gala evenings with authentic music from different countries, parades in traditional costumes, gifts, souvenirs, and most importantly – a true stage for cultural exchange and inspiration.

Participation is open to traditional dance groups, choirs, and orchestras from all over the world – with no age limits. However, spots are limited.
