Between September 25 and 29, 2025, the picturesque resort of Hersonissos, Crete, will host the sixth edition of the International Cultural Festival “FOLKWAY” – a large-scale event that brings together folklore groups, choirs, and orchestras from around the world. In official cooperation with the Municipality of Hersonissos and local cultural organizations, the festival offers an unforgettable experience amidst the beauty of Crete – with authentic atmosphere, traditional music, dances, celebrations, and international exchange. After five successful editions, FOLKWAY has already become a benchmark for events dedicated to preserving cultural heritage and living tradition.

The program includes festive evenings, parades in traditional costumes, open-air performances, and a special gala night with a feast and presentations of folk dances from various countries. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the spirit of Crete, enjoy the island’s sunshine, cuisine, and hospitality, as well as to meet groups from other nations.
