From August 19 to 24, 2026, the seaside resort town of Paralia in Greece will turn into a stage of colors, rhythm, and cultural diversity. The International Festival “Dancing in Paralia” will gather dance formations and choirs from all over the world for an exciting edition by the sea.

Paralia is famous for its endless sandy beaches, but during these six days it will also become home to dance parades, open-air performances, and spontaneous artistic encounters between people from different nations. Participants will have the chance to showcase their identity through folk and modern dances, choral art, and characteristic national costumes.

The festival has no limits – participants of all ages, styles, and nationalities are welcome. From folklore ensembles and ballet schools to majorette teams, brass bands, and modern dance groups – everyone has the opportunity to step on stage and tell their story through movement, music, and rhythm.

The program includes parades throughout the resort, evening festival performances, the option for boat cruises, visits to Thessaloniki or Meteora, as well as free time for swimming, sightseeing, and activities. Organizers encourage participants to bring their national flag, prepare a short 10–12 min program, and take part in the tradition of exchanging symbolic gifts between groups.

“Dancing in Paralia” is more than a festival – it is a meeting point of cultures, friendships, and new experiences. The stage will take the audience on a journey from ancient traditions to contemporary performances, in a living timeline of world dance.
