From July 1 to July 5, 2026, Nessebar, Sunny Beach, Sveti Vlas, and Pomorie will turn into a grand stage for the 18th European Folklore Championship “Euro Folk 2026” – the largest continental event dedicated to traditional folk arts. The festival is held under the auspices of the EAFF – an ICH partner of UNESCO, placing it among Europe’s leading cultural forums.

The championship brings together performers from dozens of countries competing for positions in the World Folklore Ranking. Performances are evaluated by an international jury, and the top ensembles receive prestigious awards along with the opportunity to participate in higher-ranked festivals.

The authentic settings of Old Nessebar, the modern atmosphere of Sunny Beach, the marina of Sveti Vlas, and historic Pomorie create an impressive festival environment. All concerts are professionally recorded and broadcast online via EurofolkTV and EAFF channels, providing participants with additional international exposure.

“Euro Folk 2026” is not just a competition – it is a meeting of cultures, traditions, and talent that each year forges new friendships and leaves lasting memories on stage.

Applications for participation are now open. Join the championship and present your culture to Europe.
