From 2 to 6 September 2026, Kiten and Primorsko will host folklore ensembles from various countries for the XXIII Black Sea Fest “Euro Folk 2026”. This international competitive festival is part of the championship system of the European Association of Folklore Festivals, and the scores from the contest programs are valid for the World Folklore Ranking, which gives real international significance to the participation.

The festival combines the power of authentic folklore with the atmosphere of the Southern Black Sea coast. On open-air seaside stages, vocal and dance groups, folklore ensembles, orchestras, ritual groups and solo performers will present their cultural identity before a professional jury and an international audience.

The competition evenings will take place in Primorsko and Kiten, where summer nights, the sea breeze and live music create the festival’s signature atmosphere. The concert programs will be broadcast live on the EurofolkTV channels, while the official opening and closing ceremonies, parades and accompanying cultural events turn “Euro Folk 2026” into a complete cultural experience.

The organizers invite folklore formations and individual performers from Bulgaria and abroad to apply and become part of the XXIII Black Sea Fest “Euro Folk 2026”.
