From July 16 to 20, 2026, the capital of Turkey – Ankara – will host the International Ankara Dance & Music Festival, an international forum that brings together traditions, rhythm, and cultural diversity from around the world on one stage. The event is establishing itself as a meeting point between folklore and contemporary performing arts, where participants showcase their cultural heritage and exchange experience in a vibrant international atmosphere. The festival is open to a wide range of participants – folk and modern dance groups, pop formations, choirs, orchestras, music bands, and majorette groups. The program includes stage performances lasting between 5 and 15 minutes, with groups able to perform both with recorded music and live. Each ensemble will have the opportunity to present its identity, carrying its national flag as a symbol of cultural belonging. The event places a strong emphasis on international exchange and cultural dialogue, bringing together participants from different countries in an atmosphere of cooperation and shared art. The festival creates opportunities for new connections, future partnerships, and inspiration that goes beyond the stage and continues beyond the event itself. The organizers invite all groups wishing to become part of this international cultural experience to submit their applications by May 1, 2026, and join one of the most colorful and inspiring events of the summer.
