From March 12 to 21, 2027, the Brazilian city of Espumoso will host the “Mundo em Dança” festival – a dynamic event that combines dance, music, and cultural exchange in an intensive ten-day program. Selected folklore groups from Brazil and abroad will take part, presenting their traditions to a diverse audience. The festival includes daily stage performances, concerts, parades, workshops, and official visits, with the program taking place across Espumoso and nearby towns. The groups will perform in various venues – parks, schools, public spaces, and the main stage – creating constant interaction with the audience and a variety of formats. Each participating group must be предварително approved, with a limited number of participants, and is expected to present an authentic program featuring traditional costumes, music, and stage performance. Applicants are required to submit group information, photos, videos, and a description of the program to be presented during the festival. During their stay, participants will be involved in a side program including organized visits and cultural activities, with logistical support provided within the framework of the event and conditions for full participation in the festival program. Interested groups can apply by submitting the required materials within the registration period - here.
