The International Folklore Festival “Red Sand” in Safi, Morocco, concluded successfully after bringing together around 100 participants from different parts of the world from 4 to 8 April 2026.

The festival featured ensembles and performers from Poland, Morocco, Romania, England, Guinea-Conakry, and Cameroon. They presented a colorful variety of traditional dances, music, costumes, and customs, transforming the festival into a stage for cultural diversity and international friendship.

For several days, Safi hosted folklore performances, meetings among participants, and shared experiences dedicated to the traditions of different nations. The festival provided artists with an opportunity not only to showcase their art but also to exchange experience, inspiration, and cultural energy.

During the closing ceremony, all participating groups were awarded diplomas in recognition of their performances and their contribution to preserving and promoting folk heritage.

The “Red Sand” Festival further strengthened its position as an important international cultural event, bringing together participants from different countries through the universal language of music, dance, and tradition.
