From 13 to 15 November 2026, Krakow will host the first edition of the International Folklore Festival in Krakow – an international gathering of folklore and artistic ensembles from Europe and Asia.

Participants are expected from Italy, Slovenia, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Indonesia, India, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Armenia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Hungary, and other countries.

The main festival day will take place on 14 November, when the groups will present traditional dances, music, and cultural heritage to an international audience. Participants will receive certificates and plaques, while the evening will offer an opportunity for all groups to come together.

The programme also provides an opportunity to explore Krakow – from Wawel Castle and the Main Market Square to the Cloth Hall, Floriańska Street, and the historic Kazimierz district. Optional visits can also be organised to the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum.

The festival combines stage performances, cultural exchange, and meetings between performers from different countries in one of Poland’s most impressive cities.
