It’s a classical music festival where internationally renowned artists perform the marvelous works of the world’s most famous composers every day from February 1st till February 15 in Dubai Opera. MASEMA Festival coductors BIO Gianluca Marciano Gianluca Marcianò, an acclaimed Italian conductor, an Artistic Director of Chelsea Opera Group, Principal Conductor of Orchestra ICO della Magna Grecia, Artistic Director of the Al Bustan Festival in Beirut, founder and Artistic Director of the Festivaof Lerici Music. In the 2022/23 season, Marcianò conducting notable performances of Manon Lescaut at the Opera House of Cagliari, La Traviata at Aalto Musiktheater Essen, and Tosca at Teatro del la Maestranza de Sevilla Alan Chircop Alan Chircop is an accomplished conductor, and the Founder and Principal of the Euro Academy of Music and Arts. Currently, he is the Artistic Director of the European Foundation for Support of Culture. He has led more than 35 international orchestras in 20 countries. Notable performances include conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, Sofia Philharmonic. Sergey Smbatyan Sergey Smbatyan is a Principal Conductor for both the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra (ASSO) and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra(MPO). Has been serving as the UNICEF Ambassador since 2022. In 2019, Smbatyan founded the "Music for Future" Cultural Foundation (M4FF) and has been the President of its Board of Trustees. Smbatyan has conducted renowned orchestras such as the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Russian National Orchestra, Dresden Philharmonic, Sinfonia Varsovia, among others. Dmitry Yablonsky Dmitry Yablonsky is a Grammy-nominated conductor and cellist. He is currently the Music Director of Kiev Virtuosi and Conductor Laureate of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra. Yablonsky is also an accomplished educator, teaching at Tel Aviv University since 2016 and recently assuming the role of Head of International Relations. He has conducted renowned orchestras worldwide, including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Novoya Rossiya, Israel Symphony Orchestra, and more. Yablonsky has performed at prestigious venues like Carnegie Hall, La Scala, and Moscow Great Hall, collaborating with notable artists such as Boris Berezovsky and Monserrat Caballé. Mikhail Kirchhoff Mikhail Kirchhoff is a highly acclaimed conductor with an impressive career. He has held prominent positions as the principal conductor of the Samsun State Opera and Ballet Theater in Turkey and the State Symphony Orchestra "Academy of soloists" in Kazakhstan, the Moscow Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Kaliningrad Music Theatre, and the festivals "Eurasian Stars" and "Ak Ertis." In addition to his conducting roles, Kirchhoff is a respected teacher at the State Musical Pedagogical Institute in Moscow.
